Parents Portal: How to Reply to Centre Emails from the Parent Portal?

Modified on Wed, 15 May at 3:49 PM

Replying to emails from your child's centre through the Parent Portal is simple and convenient. Follow these steps to communicate effectively with the centre staff.

Important

You can reply to email messages on the parents portal only if the centre (sender of the email) has enabled the reply option.

Step 1: Log in to the parents portal

  • Login into your parents portal account by visiting the link: https://cheqdin.com/login/parent
  • Enter your email address and password. If you haven’t registered yet, make sure to sign up first (contact your centre manager for more information).

Step 2: On the parent dashboard, click on 'Inbox'

Step 3: Find and click on the email you wish to view/reply to

  • In your inbox, you'll see a list of emails received from the centre.
  • Click on the email you wish to reply to. This will open the email, displaying its contents and options for responding.

Step 4: Reply to the Email

When the email is opened in view mode, look for the reply button. Click on it to compose your reply. Please note that the reply option will not be shown if the centre that sent you the email has disabled it.

A new window will appear where you can compose your reply. Once you have drafted your reply, click on the 'Send Email' button to send your message to the centre.

After you send your reply, a confirmation pop-up will appear on your screen. The response you just sent will be visible in the 'Inbox' section of your parent dashboard under the respective email thread.

Shown below is an example of an email from the center and a reply from the parent.
